Public record check
Don’t take our word for it. Check the record.
Every Mainstay delivery receipt carries a SHA-256 fingerprint. Paste it below to verify the record — the exact file, the firm that delivered it, and when. No account. No call to us.
What a fingerprint proves
Every document delivered through Mainstay is hashed with SHA-256 at the moment of delivery. If a file produces the same hash today, it is byte-for-byte identical to the file that was delivered. One changed character changes the entire fingerprint.
How to check a file yourself
You don't have to trust this page. On a Mac: open Terminal and run shasum -a 256 yourfile.pdf. On Windows: certutil -hashfile yourfile.pdf SHA256. Compare the output to the fingerprint on the receipt. They match or they don't.
Why it matters in a dispute
When receipt or version is disputed — by a client, an opposing party, or a reviewer — the question becomes evidence, not memory. The record here was written at delivery time and cannot be edited or backdated after the fact.
