For environmental consulting firms
When they say they never got it, you have proof.
Every revision is logged. The signed package your client sees is the one on record — dated, fingerprinted, and ready to produce in a dispute or regulatory review.
The dispute you already know
A client forwards an email chain. A regulator asks which version was official. You reconstruct the timeline from Sent folders and hope the dates line up. That reconstruction is billable time you never invoice — and it still might not hold up.
What goes on record
Mainstay timestamps each delivery with a SHA-256 fingerprint of the file. Client opens, signs off, or acknowledges — the event is logged. You pull a PDF receipt with the hash, timestamp, and recipient. Not a vague audit trail. A specific artifact.
Built for SWPPP, CEQA, ESA, and DTSC submittals
Any deliverable with a deadline and a recipient belongs here — inspection reports, comment responses, lender packages, remediation submittals. If it can be disputed, it should be provable.
Common questions
What is SHA-256 delivery verification?
When you upload a document, Mainstay generates a cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) tied to a timestamp. If a regulator or client disputes receipt or version, you have immutable proof of what was delivered and when.
Can I export proof for a dispute or audit?
Yes. Delivery records include a downloadable PDF receipt with the file fingerprint, send timestamp, and recipient. Produce it in a client dispute, lender review, or regulatory inquiry.
Does the client need an account to acknowledge delivery?
No. Clients open a magic-link in one click. Their open or sign-off is logged on your record — no portal login, no password.
